Episode 9: Across Time

“Nothing is ever really lost...”

A mysterious shuttle emerges from a temporal fissure near Deep Space 21, releasing a small beacon that begins broadcasting an ancient distress signal. Moments later, the shuttle slips back into the rift just before it collapses. When the crew recovers the beacon, they make a startling discovery - it doesn’t exist in the present. It’s a time-displaced artifact from the 22nd century.

As they analyze it, the Chief Counselor’s pendant reacts violently, triggering a vision of her father - alive, but stranded centuries in the past.

Meanwhile, frustrated with being treated like a child, one of the First Officer’s children sneaks into the research lab where the beacon is being studied. Unable to resist his curiosity, he touches it, and vanishes from time itself.
